The Iranian Society of Weed Science (ISWS) is taking a novel approach to developing international relations in weed and invasive plant science research, education, and development. ISWS objectives and programs include the advancement of weed science, knowledge of the most recent global research findings, the participation of Iranian weed experts in international research projects, the transfer of Iranian experiences to other countries, active participation in symposia, meetings, and international conferences, as well as participation in holding them in Iran, and active participation in theorizing chairs in the field of weeds and invasive species.

Therefore, the ISWS extends an invitation to all university professors, researchers at overseas research institutes, and active overseas agents working in the field of weed science to become members of the ISWS and take advantage of the resources available in Iran. There are many advantages to contributing to ISWS, which provides a platform for developing international relations. This is for the mutual benefit of educational and research opportunities in Iran and other countries by carrying out projects and hosting joint international conferences.
